Our Wellness Committee and Pro Bono Committee joined forces to participate in the Trial Run. This run was in support of the Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and their mission to provide quality legal representation to low-income and vulnerable people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
During the Light the Night event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in October 2023, our offices illuminated the fight against cancer by actively supporting the walk. Together, we brought hope and awareness to those impacted by these diseases.
In October and November of 2023, our New Jersey offices actively engaged in two Habitat for Humanity builds, contributing to the construction of homes for community members in need.
In May 2023, attorneys and business professionals from our firm dedicated their time to the Wine, Women and Shoes event for the Ronald McDonald House of South Jersey. This meaningful fundraiser provides a supportive haven for families while their children receive medical care in the area.
Our New York office participated in the Fight for Air Climb with the American Lung Association in March 2023, advocating for individuals facing the challenges of lung disease.
March 2023 witnessed several of our professionals actively engaging in the Philly Spin-In Event to support the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Through cycling, the team raised awareness and funds for children battling various childhood diseases.
Welcoming the spring season in February 2023, our team organized a Daffodil Charity Event in support of the American Cancer Society. Professionals purchased daffodils for both the office and their homes, contributing to one of the society's longest-standing and cherished fundraising programs, Daffodil Days.
In December 2022, a collective effort from all our offices saw us participating in Adopt a Family - Bringing Hope Home. Our professionals carefully selected families to adopt, offering assistance to those facing financial challenges due to a cancer diagnosis during the holiday season.
Embracing the spirit of generosity, throughout the 2022 holiday season, our offices actively contributed to various charitable initiatives. In New York City, we collaborated with Xavior Mission donating clothing. Simultaneously, our Scranton and Harrisburg offices lent their support to the St. Francis Assisi Kitchen. The Philadelphia, Mt. Laurel, King of Prussia, and New Castle offices united for Operation Turkey, diligently packaging and delivering meals. Our Bedminster office generously donated canned goods to The Food Bank of Somerset County, while the Pittsburgh office helped at the Jubilee Soup Kitchen.
In January, for Weber Gallagher’s monthly Jean Day for Charity, we supported, One Kind Step. One Kind Step was developed in New Jersey to connect communities and inspire positive change through small, creative projects. They provide supplies to children in need, replenishment bags for victims of domestic violence and implement educational games and crafts for children at soup kitchens. We raised a total of $335.
Throughout 2019, Weber Gallagher supported Impact100 South Jersey in its efforts to raise money to give high-impact grants to local organizations. Impact100SJ announced they exceeded their goal and raised $186K for nonprofits of the South Jersey region. Weber Gallagher congratulates all the members of Impact100SJ on their accomplishments and dedication to this great organization.
In December 2019, WG hosted a firm-wide holiday gift drive for the Center for Family Services. Our offices collected donations from wish lists for teens and families in the Envision Programs. The Envision Home provides long term placements for teen/pre-teen girls ages 11-19 who have experienced trauma in their past. WG’s support with holiday gifts helped bring joy to the girls’ lives this holiday season.
Weber Gallagher sponsored the ProFundo Bono, Inc.’s production of The Tennessee Waltz. All proceeds from the show supported the Combined Campaign for Justice (CCJ). The CCJ supports Delaware’s three nonprofit legal aid agencies, ensuring statewide and coordinated legal representation to low-income and disadvantaged Delawareans. Mary Sherlock (Dover) attended this event as she is the General Chairperson of the committee.
In October 2019, our Attorney, Jennifer Laver, supported Impact100 South Jersey and the Cooper Foundation’s Pink Rose & Teal Magnolia in their million-dollar morning event. Weber Gallagher is a proud supporter of both these great organizations and supports them in their efforts to raise money and awareness for breast and gynecological cancer clinical and research programs.
In June 2019, Weber Gallagher Sponsored the Camden Schools Foundation. The Camden Schools Foundation has been raising funds to support the students of Camden for over a decade. At the event, the Camden Schools Foundation awarded scholarships to 25 deserving Camden Schools graduates who are attending college in the fall.
In April we participated in the March for Babies, an event that raises money to support research, advocacy, and programs for the health of moms and babies. Together we walked 3.5 miles and raised $656!

In January, Weber Gallagher hosted the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey’s Share a Night Holiday Party! This event is a festive party for volunteers and supporters of the Ronald McDonald House along with children who are patients of nearby hospitals. Our own Robert MacMahon handed out gifts as Santa for the evening!

Pat Cummings and Ed Barket from our Philadelphia office volunteered on November 14th and 15th with the Workers’ Compensation Section of the PA Bar Association. They helped provide a Thanksgiving meal to the residents of Saint John’s Hospice!

In honor of our Veterans, Weber Gallagher is highlighting Devon Ford who is a US Marine Corps Veteran. Devon joined the Marines right after high school and was promoted to Sergeant in 3 years. Devon was a part of the Special Ops Unit within the Marine Corp. Thank you for your service!

Weber Gallagher hosted WG Charity Night at the Phillies on July 23rd, where we purchased 660 tickets and provided the opportunity for Aarav Seepaul from The Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey to throw out the first pitch. Aarav is a young boy who was born with a rare medical condition called congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia, a condition where his bone marrow does not completely form. Since he has been receiving medical treatment at Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, the Ronald McDonald house has provided him and his family shelter and support during his treatment.
Weber Gallagher attorneys and staff participated in the Alicia Rose Foundation's 11th Annual Victorious 5K! The Alicia Rose Foundation's Mission is to provide strength and support for hospitalized children by way of providing Teen Lounges, Social Activities, Events, and other various programming to enhance the quality of life for adolescents with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
